Obituary of Gerald William Graaskamp

GRAASKAMP, Gerald William We are sad to announce the passing of Gerald William Graaskamp on Friday, July 15, 2011 in his 85th year. Loving husband of Helena for 58 years. Father of Kathy Wood (John), Willi Downs (Bob), Joyce Schneider (Terry) and Yvette Graaskamp. Grandfather of Kara and Krista Downs, Rachelle and Philip Pelletier, Devin, Kurt and Ali Schneider. Great-grandfather of Kellyn Horsman, Aidan Baker and Jonathan Pelletier-Saliba. He will also be missed by many relatives in Holland. Special thanks to Ralph Inglefield for all your patience, care and help these last few years. Also, thank you to the staff of Grace Villa Nursing Home, second floor, for all their patience and support these last few weeks. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, Sunday, July 17th, 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00- 9:00 p.m. A private family service will be held on Monday, July 18th. Cremation to follow.
