For some reason your mum came to mind today…I had no idea she passed and I am so sorry! I lived across from Your mum and dad back in late 70’s early 80’s and my mum was Ada Baker…I remember every Christmas laying under the incredible Christmas tree amazed by the beautiful village…I used to watch Johnny Carson with your dad when my sister and I had sleepovers…your parents had the best parties!!! All my love to you and your family…Dana Baker

Remembering your mom is easy. She was 13 when I was born and helped mom to look out for me.In1957 I arrived in Stoney Creek for a 2 week vacation and ended up liking it so much I asked if I could stay Got a job and lived with Doris and herHusband Vernon. As the year went by I got married to the love of my life and started our own family.Over the years Doris and Vernon ,Doug would drive to the East coast for vacation,on many occasions Doris would come East with Doug & I.We always had a great time.I remember the summers at “Go Home Lake” to a cottage there and Innisville Beach where we would take the kids and we always had a great holiday.Later as we got older and our kids were on their own my Sister Ethel and Doris and my self ventured out on our own for vacations to the East coast and the Three of us would have a heck of a great time!Doris was very talented in Ceramics and made Snow White and the Seven Drawfs and her painting on these was beautiful.I will always remember her and the things she did for me! Love you Doris and I will see you later .Give Mom a big hug and Kiss for me! Love you Rose!xoxo

I am a daughter of Enid Webb Tracy, first cousin to Doris. Greg and I are sorry to hear of her passing. I remember Doris as fun loving and full of life. I enjoyed her visits to N.B. She had a great love for her hometown of McAdam and her friends and family in Tracy. Rest in Peace, Doris.

Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Lean on one another to help you mourn the loss of your Mom.
Aunt Doris was a wonderful lady. She was so artistic with her ceramics and her Christmas village she did every year under her Christmas Tree. I remember going every year for Christmas with my parents, and also taking my children to see the new items she had added. She was so proud of her work!
When i was younger, I remember my Mom taking me to Aunt Doris's so she could do a perm in my hair. Back them they called them Toni's. I remember Aunt Doris laying me on her kitchen counter to wash my hair and i would scream like crazy as I hated to get my hair wash never mind the aweful smell from the perm solution.
We lived a sideroad over from Aunt Doris & Uncle Vernon. They were there for us when our house was on fire. Uncle Vernon cam to our house to help my Dad and Mom took us to Aunt Doris's for the night to sleep. I remember her helping Mom get us to bed, tucking us in and giving us a kiss telling us its gonna be okay.
I remember Kirk and I hiding under Aunt Doris's basement stairs, eating jars of her homemade dill pickles. They were so good! I remember when Kirk had his 13th Birthday party and we all played spin the bottle in the basement. That was one of my first kisses from a boy.
The fun times at Go Home Lake, and the famous New Years Eve Parties in her basement. When we kids got older and had our own spouses, we attended these parties! Oh were they so much fun. We got to see the party side of our parents!
I had Aunt Doris up for dinner one time and I made homemade tea biscuits from the recipe that her and Mom used. She complimented me telling me that they were so good and that they were better than hers! That made me feel real good.
I believe Aunt Doris is up in heaven with Uncle Vernon They are looking down on
you all with much love.
Again, my sincerest condolences. If you need anything reach out.
Love you all, hugs and prayers
Lori Wilson xoxo
