Andrew, where do I start. You were my first love and high school sweetheart, you were my best friend and were always there for me when I needed you. We shared so much together, you and your family were a second home to me. Our relationship was far from perfect (like most high school relationships), but we learned so much from each other in that 4 year time span. I’m still not fully convinced your gone...seems like just a bad dream....but unfortunately I can’t wake up, and that dream soon becomes a reality. You were a beautiful soul...and that smile, god it was contagious. You will be so missed, and although you are gone you will not be forgotten. Taken way too soon, until we meet again..

My heart breaks for all of Andrew’s family. I know friends, and Brothers and Sisters felt the same way I did when I heard the tragic news. I worked with Andrew when he was just starting out in our trade. I was blessed to have a 15 minute conversation with Andrew last December at the Dofasco Dust Catcher job. Andrew was the best friend. He opened his family up to me as they could be my own

I remember Andrew as a baby. Big smile, curly hair. I remember pushing him around the kitchen in my brothers steel dump truck. I remember playing Nintendo for the first time at his house. I remember baby sitting him...boy that makes me feel old. I remember when Cheryl would tell us stories of how he always wake up when he was a baby...when she entered his room to put away clothes. Something about crawling in.
I have two sons of my own now.... and I truly am heart broken because now as a parent... can't imagine the pain. I am so sorry:( Hugs Mark, Cheryl and Kyle. Tara.
