Obituary of Muriel Alma Grant-Jones

GRANT-JONES, Muriel Alma (nee Demerling) Peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital on Saturday, August 23, 2008, in her 84th year. Loved daughter of the late Lawrence and Myrtle Demerling. Beloved wife of the late Charles Grant. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Diane and Art Potter, Phyllis and Brian Thwaites, Carol and the late Robert Williams and Ralph and Irene Jones. Dear sister of Jack Demerling. She will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Sherry Mitchell (the late Tracy Jones), Kelly and Ray Anglin, Kristy and Jason Tadeson, Adam and Carrie Thwaites, Rachel and Carla Thwaites, Ryan and Jill Williams and David and Shari Jones. Fondly remembered by 12 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Stoney Creek Life Care and St. Peter's Hospital for their excellent care. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 27 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment of Cremated Remains Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
