Obituary of Margaret Isabella Brown

January 30, 1926 - March 11, 2021 

It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Isabella Brown announce her peaceful passing at the Golden Plough Lodge in Cobourg, Ontario. Margaret was born at Landsend Croft, Parish of Fordum, County Kinkardine Scotland. She and her husband Robert came to Canada after the Second World War and lived in various Ontario towns before settling in Stoney Creek where they raised Bob (Astrid) and Glenna (Paul). She was the much loved Nana of Kristin (Doug), Erika (Matt), Lauren (Jess) and Matt (Lindsay) and Great-Nana of 8. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Ena and Betty and predeceased by her siblings George, Shirley, Ella and Elsie. As a cancer survivor herself she would have liked expressions of sympathy to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date due to covid restrictions. Online condolence and notes of sympathy may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
