Obituary of Lillian Nelson

A long-time resident of Stoney Creek, passed away peacefully, at Arbour Creek Care Centre, on Friday, March 26, 2021 in her 101st year. Loving wife of the late Gordon Nelson for 64 years. Devoted mother of  Donna Mawhinney (Mike) and the late Marie Robbins (Doug). Will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Paul Mawhinney (Kendra), Leah Mawhinney (Steven Pollmann) and Mark Robbins (Rose). Loved by great-grandchildren Anna-Kate and Haley Mawhinney, Annabel and Isla Pollmann, and Jonah Robbins. Survived by her brother Fred Warner and sister Marjorie Hudson. Predeceased by her brother Charles Warner and sister Edith Muir. Also survived by her many dear nieces and nephews. Special thank you to the loving staff at Arbour Creek 3rd floor, who she considered to be her family and home for the last 10 years.   A private family funeral service will be held with interment at Mountview Gardens Cemetery..
