Obituary of George Truman Stockford

Peacefully on March 29, 2021, George, in his 96^th year, went to be reunited with his beloved wife Nora. Loving father to sons Gary (Joanne) and Donald (Sharon). Best grandpa to Kimberly (Charlie), Jennifer, Dax, Dayten and Devin. Proud Great-Grandpa to Austin, Raelyn and the late Zoey. George was a Veteran of WWII. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday from 3-5 p.m. A private Funeral Service, which will be livestreamed on the Donald V. Brown facebook page, will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 3^rd at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment in Hamilton Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, in accordance with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario facial mask/coverings are required.  Please visit the Funeral Home website www.donaldvbrown.ca to register your attendance for services due to limited space availability, and to leave notes of sympathy and condolence. Visitors will only be accepted by scheduled appointment and will be asked to wait in their vehicle until their allotted time. Congregating on premises is prohibited.
