Bill and David. Aunt Cathy was as tough as they come. She was no nonsense but always, with a kind heart. Widowed at a young age, she worked hard to raise you, keep a home, and stay connected with family. I always admired her strength. She was at every family event; they wouldn’t have been the same without her. I’m sorry she won’t get the family send off that she deserves but, know that she is in all our hearts today. Bill and Dave....Our family got to know your Mom very well over the years as she visited our home quite often and Aunt Carhy was always there to help with the many showers the family held. Her 90th birthday party was the nicest tribute to her and for we her family and friends. Bob and Pat Cordiner

My Aunt Cathy was ever present in the lives of my sister, brotther and myself. She refered to me as Heady and it was never quite clear how it stuck for 60 plus yrs but on our last vist a few yrs ago it was still used! She was fiesty, fair and took a no-nonsence approach to every situation, Loved her family fiercely

My sincere condolences to Cathy’s families. Back in the day the Wilkinson and Taylor families were next door neighbours on Harmony Avenue. We stayed in touch for many years. Cathy’s brother Ron and I were teenage friends, and stayed good friends until his passing. Over the years, Cathy and I crossed paths on numerous occasions at Ron and Marg’s home. Prior to Cathy’s marriage to Roy, brother Ron, Roy and myself shared many a good night at Dynes hotel on the beach strip. Until her retirement, Cathy stayed in touch with my older brother John as they worked at the same firm. Although the years have faded away, the good memories of the past are never forgotten.
