Obituary of James Milroy

“Jimmy” aka “Teflon Jimmy” or the “nicest guy you’d ever meet” passed gently at the Hamilton General Hospital on April 22, 2021. He will join loved ones who went ahead of him- Gina, Jamie, Michael, Kathy, Joanie and Rennie.  He will be missed by children Tommy, Deb (Stephen), Val (Darryl), Lori, Jodi (Bill) and the late Kathy (Don); his brothers George (the late Judy) and Lyle (Dena), his sister Judy (Johnathan); and of course, Mack, his beloved cat.  His many nieces, nephews and grandchildren are saddened by his passing. Much appreciation goes out to the wonderful staff on 8W and 8S at HHS who cared for him during the last months of his life.  Very special thanks to the staff of Abbington Court, In particular ‘Jimmy’s Angels”, for all their kindness during his time living there.  He loved you dearly.  Due to COVID 19 restrictions a private family service will take place at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, Stoney Creek.
