Sending my deepest condolences to the family of Leslie .
I had the privilege to receive a Xmass gift via Helen Lyle who goes to west highlands church, last year .
That helped us in our financial situation due to loss of job and health issues.
I was able to connect with Les over the phone ever since I received the gift and had the honor of praying with him and wanted to meet him in person after the Covid lifted but unfortunately, it’s too late but in my spirit as I held Les in prayers for healing , I visualized how he may look like and am shocked that , the photo posted is how I had the vision of Leslie but with glasses!!
Leslie , I enjoyed every phone conversations with you .
Now you are with your wife whom you so very much missed. Till we meet again in spirit in Heaven ; enjoy our LORDS beautiful precious presence.

Joanne, Ruth and families. My memories of Uncle Les always go back to our big family gatherings, love of antiques, and parties in the basement at 388 Dorchester. Always a smile and a laugh, never a complaint, and always the running gag that he was younger than mom. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

Our condolences to ALL the family. Although we did not see Les often his presence was made known by his two loving daughters Joanne and Ruth. A lovely man, a heartfelt man and a unique man. After all how many men can say that they can crochet! (Thanks to the females in his life) You will be missed Dad Les, RIP and until we see you again. Laura and Jerry Martin

We have so many fond remembrances of Les. He had such a great sense of humour and we enjoyed his presence at the Stoney Creek Christian Coffee Hour. He always had great stories to share of his wartime experiences, his life with Alice in Stoney Creek and his many Christian friends. We will surely miss Les but are confident that he is now home with Jesus and his dear wife Alice.
Love and prayers from Helen and Milt Henderson.

Joanne, Ruth and family, hard to believe we have lost another loved member of our family. My deepest condolences to you all. Uncle Les certainly loved a good laugh. I still remember camping and him cooking onions wrapped in tin foil in the fire. I think of him when I do this. He got me hooked. He will be missed but not forgotten.
