Obituary of Iris Gregg

GREGG, Iris Peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, October 7, 2010 in her 74th year. Predeceased by her husband Billy, her beloved daughter Louise and parents Sarah and Harold Holohan. Cherished mother of William and his wife Lynn. Loving and caring Gran of Kirsty (Dan) and William. Dear sister of Mavis Hamilton (the late John) and Harold Holohan (Sue) both of Stoney Creek. Iris will be remembered by her nephews Michael Hamilton (Janine), Mark Hamilton (Kristy), Adam Holohan, Greg Holohan and niece Sarah Shillington (Devin). She will be missed by her cousins in both Northern Ireland and Canada and also by her many devoted friends. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek (due to construction please take Second St. N from King St. and turn Right at Charles St.) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Your strength inspired your family. You will always be remembered with love.
