Obituary of Ana Ferencak

(nee Kovac)

Passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital on Friday, July 2, 2021 in her 91^st year. Beloved wife of Franc for 67 years. Cherished mother of Albina (Jozef) Antolin and the late Frank Jr. (1982). Devoted Mamca of Valerie Antolin (Breton), Vincent, Andrew (Meaghan) and great-grandmother of Amelia, Audrey and Ava. Predeceased by brothers Ivan (the late Mira), Janez (the late Maria). Survived by sister Veronika Matjasec. Predeceased by sisters-in-law Maria Ferencak, Verona (Imre) Hajdinjak and survived by sister-in-law Julija Ferencak (the late Ivan). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada and Slovenia. Also lovingly remembered by family and Botrina: Stefan and Francka Antolin, Ivan and Angela Antolin, Rozalija (the late Ante) Cule, Alojz and Dragica Ferencak, Frank and Ljudmila Zadravec and their families. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Prayers 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory The Great Slovenian Church, 125 Centennial Parkway N., Hamilton, on Monday, July 5, 2021 at 10 a.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, in accordance with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario facial mask/coverings are required.  Please visit the Funeral Home website to register your attendance for services due to limited space availability.  Visitors will only be accepted by scheduled appointment and will be asked to wait in their vehicle until their allotted time. If you have not registered, you will not be admitted.  Congregating on premises is prohibited. Private family interment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Dunnville.
