Clarence was a friend that always had a warming smile upon greeting you. Doug and Clarence came on the
Fire Department in 1973 and served the HFD very well throughout the years. We enjoyed our visits together
and will remember those good times.

Worked with Clarence at central in 1973 shortly after starting on the fire department. Clarence was always a gentleman. A pleasure to work with. He was an acting lieutenant at the time. The kind of guy a new kid might seek to emulate. He was a cool guy with the cigars and the big gold chrysler. He had just gotten into the dump trucks at that time. Rest in peace dear old friend.
