Obituary of Brian Paul Lane

After a year of health struggles, Brian Paul Lane passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on July 23rd, 2021, at the age of 75. In his final days, he talked about how grateful he was for his loving family who will now miss him tremendously. He is survived by his wife Jan Lane, his son Christopher, his son Jeffrey, his daughter-in-law Zorka, his beloved grandsons, Mason and Harrison, and his sister, Carol Muir. Brian is lovingly remembered by Rebecca Cuthbertson, Pam and Richard Luchesa, Tim and Rosemarie Maurice, his nieces and nephews and all those whose lives were touched by his generous and gentle soul.

We would like to express our profound gratitude to the nurses, doctors, and staff on the nephrology ward at St Joseph’s Hospital for their unwavering compassion and kindness – the care you provided was exceptional. Thank you.

Visitation will take place at Donald V Brown Funeral Home, in Stoney Creek, on Thursday, July 29th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Friday, July 30th a Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Brian at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, in Ancaster, Ontario, at 10 a.m. Any condolences and notes of sympathy can be left with Donald V.
