Obituary of Robert Finton

Passed away peacefully, at his home, after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the age of 66 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Cindy for 46 years. Dearly loved father of Brad, Kristen and Amanda Higson (Adam). Papa will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Brendan, Faith, Sabrina, Bradley, Rihanna, Xander and Aiden. Loved brother of Elaine Daniels (Roy), Ruth Cookney (Tim), Doug (Pam), Cheryl Housser (Bob) and Jim (Renee). Will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Fern and Glen. Robert was proud to have worked as a Fire Fighter for over 41 years. Heartfelt thank you to his friends and family at Station 18. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
