Sending love and prayers to the family of Irene Buxton. I enjoyed her wonderful love and humor working with her at SCAC and we had many fun times with our friend Kay. Heaven is blessed with a beautiful angel.

Mrs.Buxton, there are not enough adjectives to describe this wonderful LADY.I have been fortunate enough to have known her for a long time. Every time she would come into the garage she was always smiling and laughing and telling about me about her family and how much her family meant to her. When she turned 90 she gave me a DVD to watch, told me to watch it so I could see what she did for her 90th. So put it in that night and watched as she jumped out that airplane, and smiling at the same smiling. We always told each other stories about are families, she made me feel like I was part of hers, but that’s who she was, just a beautiful person. I have not seen Mrs.Buxton for a few years now, but I have never forgotten her and never will. When it’s my day I believe I will see her again and laugh with her like we always did. To the entire family, are truest condolences, I know you all have so many wonderful memories of her, that you will have forever. Bob&Lynda McDougall

It is a great day in Heaven, because they gained a beautiful Angel today. It is a sad day on earth because we lost one of the finest ladies I have know! Aunt Irene was the Matriarch of the "Buxton Family". She will always be remembered for her kind, loving ways. I don't believe a harsh word ever crossed her lips. Her hardships were many, but her faith was strong and her love for her family and extended family was unwavering. I will always be pround to say that I was a nephew of Irene Buxton. Aunt Irene, we love you and we will miss you, till we meet again!
Dave & Sharon, Dan & Gail, Dave & Anne and families, our deepest sympathies to all of you!
Love; Gail & Keith, Marsha, Denis, Kaitlyn & Amanda, Nicholas, Emily & Farley.

What a great and fitting tribute to a grand lady. This was a woman who did jump from a perfectly good plane as a 90th birthday wish. This was a woman who was always willing to help others and give family safe haven. This was a woman of strong faith and carried on after the loss of two of her loves. This was a woman who held many memories of a very long and full life and was only too glad to share them with us. This was a woman who put family first. That family, on the Buxton side of which we can speak to, were very close through her generation, the prior one and the one that followed. This woman was the last of her generation and the one that followed has already lost far too many but those of us that remain were certainly proud of our young aunt and I think I am safe in saying that we all loved and respected her and will very much miss her. Rest in peace Aunt Irene and condolences to our cousins and their families on their loss.
