Obituary of Ella "Eva" Washnuk

"Eva" passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Extendicare Long Term Care in Hamilton on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband John and 8 siblings. Survived by daughter Caroline Burns and grandchildren Sandra and Pamela (Shawn). Also survived by older brother John and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Extendicare for their kind and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. Following a private interment, friends will be received for a service at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.  Masks are required to be worn while in the building.
