Obituary of Juanita Teresa Turner

December 4, 1927 – September 23, 2021

The world lost a beautiful human last week peacefully in her sleep beside our dad, her husband of 74 years. Juanita was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Aunt Nita to her nieces and nephews as well as a lifelong friend to many others. Juanita leaves her legacy in her love of God, family, church community and what we humorously refer to as her Juanitism’s that help us all quickly get over ourselves when needed. She was a beloved wife of Fred, adored mother of Yvonne, Warren (Michelle), cherished grandmother of Jeff, Keith (Michelle) and great-grandmother to her darlings Carter and Sadie. Predeceased by many family members and friends. Cremation has already taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Highway 8 and Green Rd., Stoney Creek, on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
