Obituary of Janko Cubrilo

CUBRILO, JANKO 

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Janko on November 1, 2021 at the age of 89.  Loving husband of Milka for 61 years. Proud father to Dragana (Stojan) and Marica (Stevo). Treasured Deda to Milan, Janko, Nikola and Aleksandar and great grandfather to Maya.  Adored son of late Nikola and Marija and brother of late Sava and Neda.  Janko with honour, courage, wisdom and devotion created a blessed life for himself and his family filled with infinite love and happiness.  His endless generosity and compassion touched the lives of many.  Janko was a retired employee of Stelwire where he worked for over 25 years.  He will be missed by many family and friends both at home and abroad.  Janko's loving spirit will forever remain in our hearts and souls.  Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday November 5, 2021 from 6-8, Pomen 7 p.m.  The Funeral will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday November 6, 2021 at 9:30am. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
