Obituary of William "Bill" Ralph Leier

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bill, at the Juravinski Hospital on Saturday, November 13th with his wife and daughter by his side. He will be deeply missed by his wife Edith, his daughter Jodi, siblings; Bob (Pauline), Carol (Bob), Debbie (Mike) along with many extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Vivien. Bill was an avid sports fan and was known for his matching hat and shirt collection. He was retired from Hamco Heating and Cooling after 26 years of service. Bill fought courageously. His family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff in the I.C.U. and Cancer Centre Staff at Juravinski Hospital. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, November 17th from 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 18th at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Hamilton Cemetery. In accordance with provincial regulations, proof of full vaccination will be required to attend the Visitation and Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Lung Association or Hamilton Health Sciences, would be appreciated by the family.
