Obituary of Jarmila Balaban

Peacefully at home on Thursday, November 18, 2021 surrounded by her loving family in her 62nd year after a courageous battle with cancer.  Loved wife of the late Slavko (2013).  Cherished mother of Janko and his wife Vera and Andjelka and her husband Branislav Radosavljevic.  Loving Baba to Savo and Magdalena.  Dear sister of Kaca Penava, Marija, Janika and Zlatko Holik and their families.  Jarmila will be missed by her sister-in-law Ljilja Kozjak as well as many other sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, kumovi and other family and friends.  Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at St.  Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton on Monday November 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.  The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating.  Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
