Obituary of Maria Gula

GULA, Maria Passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Saturday, December 29, 2012, in her 84th year, and is now reunited with her beloved husband Frank. Loving mother of Chester (Bogumila), Sophie Wojcik (Robert), Les (Tracey) and predeceased by son Fryderyk. Cherished Babcia to Dorothy Simm (Glen), Monica Collins (Paul), Stephen Wojcik (Kendra), Ela, Kimberley, Alina, Emily and Matthew. Prababcia to Mia, Delia and Faith (predeceased). Survived by her sister Teresa in Poland. Predeceased by siblings; Wladyslawa, Tadeusz, Wladyslaw, Jozefa and Jasiu. Will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Poland. Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 3 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Polish Catholic Church, Barton St. E. at St. Ann St., Hamilton.
