Obituary of Mary Panasiuk

Mary Panasiuk, 96 at Macassa Lodge, entered into God’s presence on December 3, 2021 with her son by her side. She is predeceased by her one and only true love, John (1965). She will be lovingly remembered by her son Steven (Gail) and dearly missed by her adored grandchildren Natalie and Benjamin. In her earlier years, Mary worked in her chosen field of nursing at Toronto General Hospital. She enjoyed helping others and found much satisfaction in her job. Her greatest joy was being a mother to Steve and then a grandmother to Natalie and Benjamin. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff of Macassa Lodge for their care and compassion for Mary during these last 2 years that she was a resident. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to City Kidz would be appreciated by the family.
