Obituary of Ada Mildred Gomez

With deep sadness, we mourn the passing of Ada Gomez on January 1st, 2022. Ada was a woman known by her love, beauty, kindness and baking. Over the last few years, she had fought through significant health challenges with the grace and joy that can only come from God. Even in her pain, Ada cared for both the friend and stranger in anyway she could. She lived out the love of Christ with each personal interaction. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her parents, Jorge and Ada Gomez, her, fiancé Damion Finlayson, and her siblings; Jorge David Gomez, (Yajaira), Beira Celeste Palmer (Diriki). Cherished aunt to Joy and Benjamin. Ada will be deeply missed by all the lives she has touched.

We can have peace to know that she is at rest now. Ada is finally free of pain and tears. She has finished her race and has received her reward in heaven. A private Funeral Service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 1 p.m. which will be Livestreamed on the Funeral Home Facebook page.
