Obituary of Edith Irene Beamer

January 21, 1928 – January 4, 2022 

Passed away peacefully, at The Meadows Long Term Care, in her 94^th year. Beloved wife of the late Paul for 69 years. Dearly loved mother of Connie Prowse, Deb Unger (Don), Danny and Albert (Ginny). Will be missed by her 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her grandson Leigh, her daughter-in-law Norma, sister Cora and brother Clayton. Survived by her sister-in-law Shirley. We would like to thank the staff at Westmount Retirement Home for providing excellent care for mom during the 4 years she was part of their community. We also are so grateful, for the caring nurses and PSW staff at the Meadows LTC for providing exceptional care and ongoing support for mom throughout the last 6 months she was with us. We were deeply touched by the honour guard given to mom by staff as they said their final goodbye. A private family service will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 which will be livestreamed to the Donald V.
