Obituary of Miriam Taffs

Miriam passed away peacefully at Albright Manor, Beamsville, on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Taffs. Loving mother of Richard (Eileen), Brad (Bev), Bill (Doreen). Cherished grandma of Stephen (Nancy), Nicole (Matthew), Patricia, Caitlin (Kevan), Brittany (Robert) and great-grandchildren, Lucas, Maya, William, Brooklyn, Freya and Nolan. Dear sister of Kathleen (Kay), Ruby and June. Miriam was predeceased by her son Philip and granddaughter Michelle along with siblings, George, Ruth, Cedric, Reginald and Ronald. Special thank you to all of the “Angels” who visited mom at Deer Park Villa and Albright Manor over the years, you made her life very happy. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 12 p.m. until the Funeral Service, which will be livestreamed on the Funeral Home Facebook Page,  at 1 p.m. To watch the Livestream, please CLICK HERE. Interment to follow in Woodland Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, in accordance with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario facial mask/coverings are required.  Please visit the Funeral Home website or call 905-662-2948 to register your attendance for visitation due to limited space availability.  Visitors will only be accepted by scheduled appointment only and will be asked to wait in their vehicle until their allotted time.
