Obituary of Samantha Anne Lovas

It is with heavy heart we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt “Teta Sam” and friend at the Hamilton General Hospital on January 31, 2022 at the age of 30.  Cherished daughter of Annie and the late Sam Lovas.  Beloved sister of Danielle Velko (Joe) and Bill McDowell.  Devoted aunt of Alexander, Aliah and Alyvia.  Granddaughter to her her mamika Bozena Velko.  Loved niece of many aunts, uncles and cousin to many.  Loving fur-mama to her sidekick Chewy.  Also remembered by Dado and many close friends.  Special thanks to the ICU staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital and all the doctors and nurse at Hamilton General Hospital.  Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 1-3 and 4-7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
