Obituary of Joan Marie Haggart

HAGGART, Joan Marie It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Marie Haggart on July 12, 2013, born December 25, 1933. Grama Joan is holding hands with the love of her life Tim. She was a devoted mother to Timothy Haggart, Roseann Doherty (Sergio), Marlene Smith, Debbie Grandpre (Drake), Sandra Gregotski (Wayne), Carl Haggart (Eileen). She will be cherished and remembered by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by Roxy, Drew, and Pearl, her Euchere friends at Rosedale and St. John’s, and her best friend Helen. Her will to live through very difficult health issues only made her strong and appreciate life more fully. We would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Juravinski Hospital for all their wonderful care. Also, thanks to Dr. Foley and his team for providing many years of care and support. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 16 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. Service to be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 17 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Online condolences can be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
