Obituary of Julie Rose Dalrymple

It is with deep sadness that the family of Julie Rose Dalrymple announces her passing on March 11, 2022, at the age of 88 years old. To have known Julie was to love her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. After spending her childhood and young adulthood in Ireland and the United Kingdom, Julie immigrated to Hamilton, Ontario, where she met her beloved husband of 59 years, Andrew. A two-time cancer survivor, Julie's courage and resilience inspired those around her daily. She loved travelling, singing, dancing and hosting dinner parties for loved ones. She will always be remembered by her love of fashion, her signature red curls, her generosity and her warmth. Julie is survived by her husband, Andrew; daughter, Andrea; grandchildren, Molly and Andrew; as well as numerous other family members in Ireland, Scotland and England. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honour on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
