Obituary of Lorna Jessie Carruthers Reid

(nee Jaffray) 

Passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on the eve of her 90th Birthday, on Monday, April 18, 2022. Predeceased by her beloved husband Allen Campbell. Cherished mother of James (Sherri) and Joanne (Allan). Treasured grandmother of Joshua (Megan), Justin (Sarah), Jacob (Brittney), Shelbie (Kyle) and great-grandmother of Olive and Penny. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Margaret, brothers William, Iain, James, Marshall, Ronald, and sisters Elizabeth and Margaret. She will be missed by her extended family and friends. Lorna was devoted to her mother, siblings, children and grandchildren. They were the light of her life. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
