Obituary of Laurence Marshall

Passed away peacefully, at Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in his 85^th year. Beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Jacobs) for 66 years. Cherished father of Susan (Mike), Karen (John), and Lordeen (Malcolm). Deeply loved grandfather of Harmony, Cameron, Jason, Lisa (Pete), Ryan (Sarah), Robin (Jeff), Tim (Tori), Nick (Elena), Dean (Jac), the late David and great-grandfather of Seth, Nash, Eva, Autumn, Ava, Abbey, Ainsley and Evelyn. Laurence was the proud owner of Larry’s Truck Service Ltd. and Lucky Bear Services Ltd. in Stoney Creek. He was a 50 year member of Union Lodge #7 Grimsby A.F.& A.M. and a member of the Stoney Creek Optimist Club for many years. He was also the proud recipient of the Stoney Creek Legacy Award in 2013. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Masonic Service at 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
