Deepest sympathy to Doris Freeman's family and brother Andrew Lowden. In Sept 2020 my daughter the nurse took me to visit Doris on the farm and we had a lovely visit. May Doris rest in peace. Cousin, Verna Connell (nee Laidman)

Our deepest condolences to you all at this time. Doris was a remarkable and unique lady who certainly did live a long and good life. How I will miss our long chats, the stories of days long ago and days recent, not to mention the many cups of tea! What a memory and what wonderful stories we shared. How I wish I had known Oliver longer, but your mother, grandmother and great grandmother told me so much about him that I felt like I really did know another remarkable human being. Doris was an amazing person. She lived with grace and talent. Her activities around the farm were impressive. Her kindness and generousity were only two of the numerous attributes she possessed. Doris and Oliver truely had "lives well lived". The limited times we spent with Doris were always interesting and pleasurable. Our thoughts are of her and with the family during this time of loss.
