Obituary of Patricia Ann Edge
Taken from us all way too early, Pat passed away quietly at the Brantford General Hospital. Beloved wife of Cam. Devoted mother of Bill (Michaela) Edge and Pam (the late Brad) Wilson. Dear sister to the late Jim (Marylou) Smillie, Lillian (Barry) Kopysh and the late Bernard Smillie. Dear daughter of the late Jim and Helen Smillie. Grandmother to Alex (Karen), Brittany (Keely), Joshua and Benjamin. Dear Aunt to Rob (Lori) Smillie, Chris Smillie, Michael (Becky) Kopysh and Matthew Kopysh. Special Great Aunt to Julia (Cody, Adalyn, and Brooklyn) Smillie and Allison Smillie also to her two great nephews Carter and Declan Kopysh. She will be greatly missed by all her cousins, friends, and The Villages community in Port Rowan. She had a heart of gold, and her family meant the world to her, and she was our families world. She was kind, compassionate, generous and our family matriarch. Special thanks to the emergency and palliative care staff at Brantford General Hospital for all their compassion and caring through this difficult time for us.At Pat’s request, cremation has taken place. Interment will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Fifty Cemetery in Winona. A reception will follow. Messages of sympathy and support can be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
