Obituary of James Nelson Hamilton

HAMILTON, James Nelson (Jim) Peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in the 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Felstead). Beloved father of Gordon and Donna (Merv Pink). Predeceased by his son John. Loving Papa of Amanda, Eric and Brandon and Great-Papa to Skyla and Step-Great-Papa of Michael, Bridgette, Kira, John, Leigh-Anne, Brayden, Cait-Lynn. Dear brother of Janet Gibb (Bob deceased), Isobel, Bruce (Esther), and Nelson (Carol). Brother- in-law to Irene and Ian Roberts. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Jim was a member and elder of St. Columba Presbyterian Church and a retired employee of Union Gas with 38 years of service. Special Thanks to the nurses, staff and Dr. Simon Oczkowski at Juravinski Hospital. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Columba Presbyterian Church (Main Street East and Weir Street, Hamilton) on Saturday, October 19 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
