Obituary of Jean Fricker

With great sadness we announce the passing of Helen Kathleen Jean Fricker on December 10, 2022 at the wonderful age of 100.  She rejoins husband Carman (2002) married 60 adventurous years, also much loved daughter Pat.  Honored mother of Patricia (Terry), Paul (Faye), Iris (Don), Sandra. Cherished Nana to grandchildren Kim (Jeff), Tim (Sue), Wendy (Jarret), Brad (Elena), Lee, Glenn (Julie). Forever remembered by great-grandchildren Tyler (Sarah), Jake (Brittany), Meaghan (Brendan), Josh (Megan), Alyssa, Leah.  Missed by great-great-grandchildren Elijah and Samuel. Predeceased by parents James and Mae Hurley of Houghton Twp. Ontario, and siblings Lionel, Edna, Ralph, Maxine, Alvin. An avid gardener, keen world traveler, talented artist, industrious seamstress and lover of all things Queen Elizabeth II. Our mom was an extremely hard worker throughout her long life. We loved her special baked beans and graham wafer pies. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. Our family wishes to thank the many caring hands who helped in her last few months. Cremation entrusted to Don Brown of Stoney Creek, with a graveside committal in May 2023.
