To all of the MacDougall family, our sincere condolences in the passing of John.
He had a very successful farming career and was a respected and active member
of the community and the church. He was a dear friend to us. We have many fond
memories of fishing and hunting trips, dinners together and lots of coffee time.
He will be missed by all of us .

Having known John through the Card Party Group, we found him to be a guy who lived life large. He made life interesting. He was at times outrageous and at other times sincere and thoughtful. In his life the hills were steeper and valleys were lower than for most of us. We feel sadness for all of John’s family and we pray that he is now at peace.

John taught me more about life than school ever could. He gave me grace when others ran out of patience. He gave me a place where my childhood memories flourish. He let me play in his barn when others would have been kicked in the ass :) thanks for for all these gifts John and family. Sending all my love from the far north- Jennifer Best

To John’s Family,
So sorry to hear of John’s passing.
I remember all the vacations we went on.
Learning how to water ski with him at the wheel of the boat.
He took us out for boat rides at twilight and Mom enjoyed seeing the loons.

Alison, Jodie and Jason and the McDougall family: My deepest condolences for your loss. I have so many great memories growing up when we were neighbours (Keizer family). Your father was the best neighbour anyone could ask for. He was so good to my parents, always there to lend a helping hand when needed. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
