I only saw Joan and Peter at tax time each year but they always chatted about when they were going or coming back from. The stories they told gave the camping bug to my husband and I. We enjoyed many happy times in our motorhome thanks to their tips on where to stay and how to look after things. Their descriptions of places they had visited pushed us to travel and we have been on many cruises since. Many happy memories thanks to their guidance.
Joan was an amazing lady. I am sure you all have some great memories that will be with you even though she is now at peace.

Dear Family, Joan was a witty addition to my line dancing classes for many years. She was a helping hand to any friend that needed a favor. An independent woman with a mind of her own. I hope she was kept comfortably during her illness and may she rest in peace. Lynn Goruk and Joan's friends from line dancing

I have several memories of Joan. Especially though, Joan and I were helping Peg and Janet in Bobcageon storing the extra sandwiches and sweets in Peg’s oven. We forgot to tell them or anyone else!!!
I was also on a cruise from England to Florida with Joan, Peter, Janet, Peg and 20+ friends from the park in Florida and what a fun adventure that was.
My condolences to family and friends
