I John, had nothing but good memories with John Blaney Sr For example, in hockey games when John S was playing goalie he would want John B Sr as one of his defensemen Most importantly it was John B Sr lived out his faith in Jesus that made an impression. John S finds it interesting that John Sr. Passed away on the day of John S sister, Ruth’s birthday. Ruth & John Kneller were instrumental in bringing John & Charlottetown the Advents faith. Live, John & Janice Soley

John and I played on the same slo-pitch team with the Hamilton Olde Sports many years back. What a lovely cheerful man! I remember him showing me a picture from long ago of himself and his wife on a beach. He had the happiest smile you could imagine, both in the picture and in person. My deepest condolences to his family. Vicky Paterson

So sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a long time member of the Hamilton Olde Sports Slow Pitch League. I had the pleasure of playing on the same team as John several times over the years. He was always a very enthusiastic ball player who enjoyed the game immensely. He will be missed.

John was a friend who lived his passion, some of which included among other things his family, church and sports. We share much in common with John. He had a heart for God. Our condolences to his family. As we await our Lord’s return be assured the night is almost over, morning is coming.
