Dear Kelly and Terry my condolences. My parents Vickie and Dave Pidwick were friends of your parents. I am your mothers God daughter. Kelly you and your parents attended my wedding 50 years ago in Montreal. Your mother and I exchanged Xmas cards yearly. I have kept them all as they are unique. The last few years her cards were eradic. I always looked for them. I can’t tell you the reason why I looked up her obituary today. I wanted to assure myself she was still there. My memories of her are vivid in my mind. The Pomeranian dogs they had at their apartment behind the restaurant your grandparents ran. She always had a smile on her face. I hope you will read this. My email is djthom@cogeco.ca One thing I could usually count on was that Xmas card. I was a connection to my parents. Frank wanted my dad to work for him.

Bernice was my mother's best friend. They were like sisters. It follows that when I was born I would know her as "Aunt Bernice". So it was that throughout my life she has been a constant shining star. Whenever I was in her presence I felt special and loved. We have kept in touch all these years and I feel privileged to have been able to speak to Aunt Bernice just days before her passing. I will miss her. My condolences to all the family. Larry Radko
