Obituary of Roy Charles Horvat

HORVAT, Roy Charles Peacefully at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice with his family by his side on September 9, 2015 in his 80th year. Predeceased by his wife Betty, daughter Brenda, son Ron and brother Charlie. He will be remembered by his sons Roy (Cindy) of Hamilton, George (Lyn) of Toronto, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Also survived by his sisters Vivian, Dorothy, special friend Betty and his four legged companion Shelby. . Roy was a longtime employee with Dofasco. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday September 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
