I loved my baby brother and I will miss him everyday.
Norm lived an “ordinary” life..though too brief that seemed extraordinarily rich in the things that matter. He was honest, hard working hospitable ,helpful and above all a family man.He met and married a wonderful girl Laurel, they had their son Norm Jr and Norm built a joyous life with them.Although we mourn his passing we must remember to celebrate his life.
I will miss my little brother everyday.Norm was so cute and his five sisters adored him and protected him.
We share parents, histories and memories and now that bond is broken. We are now Sharron,Darlene,Doreen ,Linda and Marguerite but our brother Norm is gone and we are heartbroken.

To Laurel, Norm Jr, his sisters, and extended family, our most heartfelt condolences on Norm's passing. From our first meetings in the industry, Norm became a friend first, then a valued customer, but always remained a true, trusted, respected, and valued friend. Many evenings shared when our businesses were on the same property, having a ton of laughs with each other ,or with others, talking trucks and trucking, history, business, occasionally solving the world's problems at the round table, or watching the birds, hawks, groundhogs, and listening to the sounds of the evening. Noted for his work ethic, and 'git r done' attitude, Norm was the man to call if you needed a haul. He will be missed by us all, but, certainly, our loss is incomparable to that felt by Laurel and Junior, who had the great fortune of having his dad not just as his father, but, as his best friend and companion, easily evidenced by their time spent and travels together, which I can recall witnessing for so many years..
He will be missed by us all, personally, I am glad and proud that I had the opportunity to know him, spend a great deal of time with him, and I thank you both for sharing him with us. It was our pleasure, good fortune, and honor to know him. We raise a glass in his honor.
With our sympathy,
Steve, Philomena, and Keegan,
Kassandra and Mitch, George and Mercedes, Susan and Richard, and their families.

Thinking of you all during this very difficult time. My deepest condolences to Laurel and Norm Jr. - my thoughts and prayers are with you. To my Horning cousins, my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your brother, Normie, the youngest in your family just like my brother Bob. I have such happy memories of our younger days when our families would get together as well as visiting at Grandma Rose's. I'll always remember Norm as he looks in his picture - smiling and happy. Take care.
Love your cousin Lynne
