Obituary of Gary Walter Best

Sept 4, 1953 – May 2, 2023.

Lifelong resident of Stoney Creek, brother to John (Gail) and Dave (Carol); uncle to Andrew (Jungmi), Addison (Kari), Doug and Scott; great uncle to Henry and Alexander; pre-deceased by parents Jean and Bill Best of Stoney Creek. Gary was a gentle, generous, soul who faced several challenges in life. He found his most comfort driving the countryside, laying on the beach at the cottage, canoeing on Boshkung Lake in Haliburton and attending his church in Burlington. May he now find everlasting rest and peace. 

A short celebration of Gary’s life will take place Friday, May 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the Compass Point Bible Church, in Burlington, 1500 Kerns Road, Burlington. Many thanks to the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, where condolences may be made on-line www.donaldvbrown.ca.
