Obituary of Ronald William Peet
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald William Peet on Thursday, October 26 at St. Joseph Hospital in Hamilton at the age of 80. Cherished husband and best friend to Jan (nee Gowland) of 51 years. Beloved brother to Ethel (late Frank McKay) and brother-in-law to Marilyn (Bill Shaw). Devoted and proud uncle to Mike (Sherrie), late Sue (Mike), Joanne (Dan), Jodi (Henry), Kerri, and much-loved great nieces and nephews. Ron was born in Hamilton to Gert and Arn Peet on November 15, 1942.
Ron was a devoted family man and friend. He was always available to lend a hand, or heart, when needed; there was no limit to his kindness or generosity. His loss will be felt deeply by all who knew him.
Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, November 1 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 2 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Burlington.
