Obituary of Mildred (Betty) Elizabeth Blackwood

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Betty Blackwood (Mildred Elizabeth) on Sunday October 29, 2023 in her sleep, at the age of 80. 

The cherished wife of late husband Wayne Blackwood. Devoted mother to Mark (wife Debbie), Linda (husband Kevin), grandmother to Steph (husband Rocco), Justin (wife Theresa), great-grandmother to Rayna. Grandmother to Kylie who took it upon herself at such a young age to help care for her for years. We felt so blessed knowing she was well taken care of. 

Betty’s kind heart, beautiful smile, and sense of humour was loved by everyone who knew her. Her amazing thoughtfulness, and tenderness to those around was so beautiful. These things will be missed by all of us in the physical, but her spirit will remain in us forever.
