In Loving Memory of Grace LaForce (nee Farrell)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Grace LaForce on November 21, 2023, just days shy of her 90th birthday.

Born in Renfrew, Ontario on November 26, 1933, Grace later moved to Hamilton, Ontario in 1963. Grace was the heart of her family. She shared an extraordinary 60 years with her husband, best friend, and confidant, Danny LaForce. Grace was a beloved mother to Bill (Kelly), Dan (Julie), and Donna (Carlo). She was a cherished Gramma to Kait and Jaclyn – and, adored by Charlotte, Stephanie, and Philippe, and beloved cousin of Ann (Bill) Becker. Her love for her family knew no bounds – and her compassionate heart and legacy will always be remembered.

Known for her exceptional ability to cultivate friendships, Grace's warmth, and boundless positivity touched the lives of many. Grace was predeceased by her loving parents, Elizabeth and Bill. Grace’s memory will live on in the hearts of her adoring family, treasured friends, and all those who were touched by her presence.

We are profoundly grateful to Dr. Joe Pontoriero for his dedicated care and unwavering compassion. Our heartfelt appreciation extends to the devoted teams on M3 at Juravinski Hospital, the Hamilton Home & Community Care, and the Community Paramedicine Program, whose compassion was invaluable in supporting Mum's wishes. Your collective kindness has left an indelible mark on our hearts.

Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home on Sunday, November 26^th from 1-3 p.m., with a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Assistance Program would be appreciated.
