Brother, I love you with every fiber of my being, losing you so fast has shaken me to my core. We were cut from the same stone you and me and I miss you terribly. I still expect you to come thru my door. We never went a day without touching base physically or on the phone, funny you are registered in my phone as "brother ". There are so many things you helped me with, my whole life, your strength was admirable and your sense of humor unmatched, even at the end. Watching over you during your struggle you still thanked me for being there. Brian you will never be out of my heart and always on my mind, like I whispered to you just before you passed. I held your head in my hands as you left this harsh world and told you your children are all here and Shannon held your hand and I said you would be greeted on your journey to heaven by Mom and Dad and all of your loved ones, Marilyn, Wayne, Sean and Michael and Keith and so many more, I pray that this is true. You have a lifetime legacy with your beautiful children and their babies, my daughter Shannon considered you like a Dad and she loved you so much, but I know you knew it. Being your baby sister was a treasure, and I know you are at peace with no more pain and suffering. Thank you for all your love and devotion there will never be anyone like you. My deepest condolences to the entire Fougere family. I, like others played hockey with Brian while growing up in Saltfleet. Always a smile and a joke in the dressing room, a truly nice man. Rest in peace Brian.

Dad always loved his hockey rinks. Hockey and having a Rink in the backyard was a generational gift that his dad passed on to my dad. I will be forever grateful for a wonderful childhood that you gave us dad. Love you always

I have fond memories of Brian in my youth. We went to Immaculate Heart of Mary elementary school. On the same bus. Our older brothers, Brian’s Wayne and my Bruce would compete against each other in every sport. Predominantly in hockey be it road or pond. The Fougères on Deans the Thibodeau’s over at Christie’s. the complétive nature and drive I have today was discovered back then in our pursuit for the Stanley Cup of Frutland. Graces Variety usually had the victors’ drink. RIP my friend
