Obituary of Milica 'Milja' Markovic

Passed away peacefully, at Hamilton General Hospital, on Saturday, December 16, 2023 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Radomir for almost 60 years. Dearly loved mother of Sasha (Marija), and Rada Pascoe (Ryan). Cherished Baba of Marcus, Aleksandra, and Mario. She is now reunited with her siblings Jovan, Dusan, Anka, Maca, and leaves behind her sister Danica. She will be missed by her many cousins, nieces and nephews, in Canada, Serbia and abroad. Milja was blessed to be loved and supported by her friends, neighbours and closeknit family. She will also be deeply missed by Lola.

Special thanks to the nurses and staff in ICU and 7 West at Hamilton General Hospital, who cared for her and supported our family during this difficult time.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
