Obituary of Jan Davy

DAVY, Georganne “Jan” (nee Chippendale) June 16 1941 - December 14 2023 Peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on Thursday, December 14 with her two sons at her side. Predeceased by her parents James and Margaret Chippendale (nee Meharg) and the love of her life, husband Ted Davy (1997.)

She was the beloved mother of Jamie (Lori) Davy and Joel Davy (Paula). She was a wonderful Grammie to Jessica (Clayton), Alex (Heather), Taylor (Nathan), and Carly. She was also the beloved GG of Rylee. Much loved older sister of Debbie (Fred) and special sister-in-law to Santa. Sister-in-law and cousin to many from the Meharg, Chippendale and Davy families. Jan was the aunt and great aunt of numerous nieces and nephews.

Close, close friends with her 60-year euchre club members and former coworkers. Jan was a great neighbour and friend to so many people. Many thanks to the staff at Juravinski who cared for her the last couple of weeks of her life.
