Obituary of Betsy Head

HEAD, Betsy (McIntosh) Surrounded by her family at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, December 11, 2009, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Victor Head. Beloved mother of William Michael (Mike), Charles Robert (Bob) and his wife Kim and Jane Elizabeth (Jeannie) and her husband Michael Garneau. Loving grandmother of Katherine (Amy), Joshua, Victoria, Melissa and her husband Greg Fluney, Amber, Betty Jo, Shanon, Michael, Ashley and Trevor and great-grandmother of Austin and Tyler. Sister-in-law of Ruby McIntosh. Predeceased by her brothers William (Bill) and Wallace (Wally) McIntosh and by her sister Jane (Jean) Baxter McIntosh. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, December 15 at 1 p.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
