Dear Denise and family, our deepest condolences in the loss of your father. Our parents, who owned Ilic's IGA in Winona and Kustra's Best Value in Hamilton were long-time loyal customers of Dorr Brothers Meats on Highland Road in Stoney Creek and spoke highly of your family's professional service in providing local businesses their quality meats.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I’m very sorry to hear about Dennis. I know our parents had many good times together. I remember Dennis mostly from when I’d go to help my mom wrap meat that we bought from Dorr Brothers. Sending condolences to you all at this sad time.

Sending our deepest condolences to all your family. We have such fond memories of spending time with Dennis and Ruth, going out to dances and being invited on the boat. Dennis was always so generous to our family. Arnold went to school with Dennis, Ron, and Ralph, and we still don’t know all the antics that they got up to as teenagers. We will remember Dennis for his kindness, and we hope that your memories bring you comfort at this time.

Our condolences to all the Dorr family. I have very fond memories of Steve in business and outside business. I was the meat manager at Tillsonburg IGA and our beef came only from Dorr Brothers. Steve always had his sleeves rolled up and was involved in the operation. He was always polite and personal. He made me feel respected as I did respect him. I remember my wife Dianne and I went out on a cruise with Ruth and Steve on lake Ontario. He took us to a harbor in Oakville and we went to a restaurant that you had to have sports jacket. Well I didn't have one , so Steve says don't worry and opens his closet and he has a dozen jackets. He was always prepared. Rest in peace my friend.
Randy and Dianne Marsh.

Enjoyed seeing Steve every day sitting out front at Seasons. My mom Bev lived on the same floor. They loved talking about their new power wheel chairs. Sadly both have passed. Rest in Peace.

I am so sorry for the loss of your dad; I have so many fond and funny memories, especially after working at Dorr Brothers and becoming closer to him. With our dads growing up together I always knew him as ‘Dennis’ – he used to tell me the only people that called him that were his mom and my dad! And he loved to tell me stories about the shenanigans he and my dad and the rest of the gang got into when they were young; he was a great story-teller and there was always a laugh to be had.
He took me under his wing at Dorr Brothers and treated me like family; he holds a special place in my heart and will be missed.

Denise, Steve and family. Very sorry to learn of Uncle Dennis passing. I always looked up to him as man of integrety and leadership, the patriarch of the Dorr family. My earliest memories of him was driving his freezer pickup truck with meat to our house on Twenty road in the late 50's.early 60's He would give me a raw weiner to eat and a bone for my dog. Later years I relished listening to his stories of the old days when they were kids, some funny stuff!
Rest in peace Uncle Dennis

Denise, Stephen and families ... So sorry for your loss. I always thought of Uncle Dennis as "the head" of the Dorr family, especially after Grandma passed. Along with Uncle Ralph he always made sure everyone stayed in touch and knew "the news". He will be missed. ❤️
